AUDIENCES will be treated to an evening of festive cheer, courtesy of Salisbury Community Choir.

The choir will be hosting its Sparkling Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 13, at Wilton Church, starting at 7.30pm.

It will feature fabulous Christmas music – a combination of traditional favourites with a sprinkling of more modern arrangements. Audience members will be given a chance to get involved in some carol singing as well as enjoy a glass of wine and some mince pies.

The concert is in aid of Home-Start South Wiltshire, which provides support to local families struggling to cope.

Salisbury Community Choir will also be performing on Saturday, at St Thomas’ tree festival at 1pm and at the Christmas market at 2.40pm.

On Sunday, the group will be singing at the Light Up a Life service at Salisbury Hospice.

The choir will be leading carol singing with the Salvation Army band at 6pm at the All Salisbury Sings event in Market Square.
