SALISBURY Camera Club is holding its annual photographic exhibition later this month.

It is taking place in the Guildhall Crown Court Room from Saturday, January 17 until Friday, January 23.

It will be the club’s fourth exhibition at the Guildhall.

The venue has been made available to the club thanks to Salisbury City Council and sponsors Specsavers Salisbury.

The exhibition, which will be launched by the Mayor of Salisbury, Councillor Jo Broom, at 11am on the Saturday, is open from 9am to 5pm each day except Sunday.

There will be more than 80 framed prints from more than 40 members, plus a continuous display of hundreds of digital images.

The club has been operating for more than 100 years to encourage local amateur photographers to pursue their hobby.

The exhibition is free to visit and there will always be a club member available to answer any questions about the work displayed or the club itself.

There will be an opportunity for every visitor to vote for their favourite image, with one lucky person winning a framed copy of the winning print.
