IT was announced on January 6 that Dan Chisholm will take over as the new host of the Late Show on BBC Wiltshire.
The previous host of the Late Show, Trevor Fry, died in June 2014. Chisholm, an old friend of Trevor’s, said he was excited but daunted by the challenge of taking over the programme: “Trevor left extremely large boots to fill. He was a first-class communicator who loved the West Country and carefully crafted every programme he was associated with.
“His warmth and personality were unique and genuine. That’s why his listeners loved him.
“I’m hoping to successfully blend late-night conversation with great music and a few guests along the way.”
Dan Chisholm has been working in local, regional and national radio for 37 years and has covered regional evening shows in the past.
