SALISBURY Playhouse presents Arthur Miller’s first success, All My Sons, from March 3-7. The play is set during the Second World War and shows how an American couple deal with their son being is missing in action. Non Zero One’s production Mountaineering explores choice, interaction and personal conversation and comes to the Playhouse from March 5-7.

Bullingdon Club-inspired Posh by Laura Wade sees an Oxford dinner descend into chaos. The critically-acclaimed play will be at the Playhouse from March 12 until April 4.

From March 26-28 Studio ’65 Youth Theatre will perform a Shakespeare-inspired double bill of Moonfleece and Discontented Winter/House Remix. Moonfleece has been described as an ‘East-end Hamlet’, while Discontented Winter sees a latter-day Richard III plot the downfall of government.

- Salisbury Arts Centre is putting on an exciting range of music, comedy and theatre this month.

The regular Live Lunch continues with Dylan-inspired Drew Allen performing on March 8 and Emma Ballatine taking over on March 14 with her blend of folk, jazz and classical music.

Quebec quartet Le Vent du Nord will take to the stage on March 21 with a repertoire of folk songs sung in their native French.

Comedy this month comes from Radio 4’s Mitch Benn on March 20 and Tom Stade on March 8 who has recently performed on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Channel 4’s Comedy Gala. Expect a few songs from sceptic Mitch Benn as he attempts to debunk myths and expose nonsense.

Ablutions, on March 31, is a dark modern tale from the Los Angeles underworld, adapted from the Man Booker-shortlisted novel by Patrick DeWitt. The play blends a live soundtrack with detailed mime and humour to bring the story to life.

Inspired by Don Quixote, the Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha sees two feisty senoritas and an Englishman embark on a journey through Spain, accompanied by only a guitar. Guests have the option to book a pre-show tapas supper.

The New Adventures production premiered in 2005 and has since enjoyed sell-out performances in Europe, Asia, America and Australia.

The play, devised, directed and choreographed by five-time Olivier winner Matthew Bourne, is based on the Tim Burton’s motion picture. Edward Scissorhands tells the heart-warming tale of a man-made boy who is left with scissors for hands when his inventor dies before his completion.

The boy struggles to fit in with the unknown suburban com- munity he finds himself in.

Dominic North, who was nominated for Best Male Dancer for the same role in 2009, will play Edward. Rising star Liam Mower will also play the role of Edward and Ashley Shaw and Katy Lowenhoff will play love interest Kim Boggs.
