THE musical stage adaptation of favourite children’s book The Tiger Who Came to Tea is coming to the Nuffield Theatre on February 17-21.
Judith Kerr’s classic tale tells the story of what happens to young Sophie and her mum when a hungry tiger rings on the doorbell. The surreal scenario is played out in the stage version with sing-a-long songs, dancing and interactive fun and is aimed at children over the age of three and their families.
The book was adapted by David Wood, whose past successes include eight Roald Dahl productions, including the BFG and George’s Marvellous Medicine and Goodnight Mister Tom, which won an Olivier Award in 2013 for Best Entertainment and Family.
Tickets are available at nuffieldtheatre.co.uk or on 023 8067 1771.
