FATHER-daughter folk legends Martin and Eliza Carthy will unite for a performance at Salisbury Arts Centre on February 13.
The pair will be playing songs from their critically-acclaimed first duo album, The Moral of the Elephant.
Martin Carthy recently won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2014 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and Eliza has been nominated for the Mercury Prize twice.
The legendary Martin Carthy is considered one of the genre’s greatest innovators and has influenced generations of artists, including Bob Dylan and Paul Simon.
Eliza has collaborated with a diverse range of artists such as Paul Weller and Rufus and Martha Wainwright. She has also co-presented the BBC Radio 3 World Music Awards, been a regular guest presenter on the BBC Radio 2 Mark Radcliffe Show and has made many appearances on Later with Jools Holland.
