EIGHT Tibetan monks from Tashi Lhunpo Monastery are to hold a series of workshops and performances at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The monks will be holding workshops on their monastic arts, music and dance, and giving performances of the majestic masked dances from the Tibetan New Year Festival.
The monks, who have been seen in Salisbury on various occasions, most recently at Salisbury Arts Centre in August last year, are supported by their Salisbury-based charity, Tashi Lhunpo Monastery UK Trust, and have embarked on a crowd-funding venture to help pay some of the expenses involved in their Edinburgh appearances, which are part of a three-month summer tour.
