JAZZ singer Sandy Ince will give three special performances at Salisbury Playhouse during a series of vintage afternoon teas.
The event gives people the chance to enjoy a traditional English tea in the specially decorated foyer, while listening to the finest music from a bygone age.
Sandy, of Sticky Toffee Jazz, will perform a wide range of jazz, swing and blues numbers while guests tuck into sandwiches, cakes and scones all served on vintage china that has been used on stage in past Salisbury Playhouse productions.
The vintage afternoon teas are raising money for Salisbury Playhouse’s 40th Anniversary Campaign which aims to make the building more accessible, improve facilities for disabled people and invest in new equipment to enhance productions.
They will be held during Theatre Fest West, a celebration of talent from the south west region.
Booking is essential for the popular vintage afternoon teas which take place from Monday, March 30 to Wednesday, April 1 at 3pm.
Tickets, priced at £9.50, are available from the ticket office on 01722 320333 or salisburyplayhouse.com.
