A NEW music festival dubbed a 'mini Glastonbury' is to be held in Salisbury in July with a line-up ranging from rock, jazz and blues to indie, grime and Americana.
The Festival on the Heath is being organised by Salisbury music business The Sound Emporium, which has teamed up with the Bemerton Heath Residents Association.
Taking place at Pembroke Park on July 25, the free festival will have two stages and performers coming from all over the country.
Eddie Vortex & The Cyclones are set to play the main stage, their eclectic live set taking 50s, 60s and 70s rock and fusing it with neo-country.
Also confirmed is Troy Phoenix, Eddie Vortex’s son. Troy’s music is based around rock, country and Americana
with a little bit of Glam and Blues thrown in.
