DORSET author Harry Bucknall will be at Sarum College in Salisbury’s Cathedral Close tomorrow (Friday) to talk about his 1,400 mile pilgrimage on foot to Rome.

The author, who recorded his journey in the book Like a Tramp, Like a Pilgrim, received much praise for the book with actor Martin Sheen, star of the pilgrimage film, The Way, calling it "wonderful" and The Times, "a boisterous, jubilant adventure".

Further praise for the book has come from The Times, which called it ‘A boisterous, jubilant adventure’, from John Julius Norwich, from Alan Titchmarch and the Catholic Herald, amongst others.

Tickets for the talk,which starts at 7.15pm, are £3 to include a glass of wine, or £13 to include supper and a glass of wine. Supper tickets must be bought in advance. Bucknall's books will be discounted on the night.
