COMEDIAN and actor Omid Djalili had me in stitches when he appeared at Salisbury International Arts Festival.
His show appearance at Salisbury Playhouse gave audiences a great opportunity to find out more about his life as he discussed his memoir, Hopeful.
During the evening he shared some hilarious stories from his childhood including a close encounter with a poo pit in Iran and when as a 10-year-old boy he filled in for his father as an interpretor at a hospital, which literally had side splitting consequences for the patient.
Djalili also spoke about his time on the set of the Oscar-winning film Gladiator and how as a 10-year-old boy he filled in for his father as an interpretor at a hospital, which literally had side splitting consequences for the patient.
It left me wanting to find out more and read more about his life.
