A MAMMOTH cast of adults and members of Studio’s Youth Theatre will be performing Lark Rise at Breamore House next week.

The play follows a day in the life of a rural community during harvest time, interweaving vignettes on village life with traditional folk songs and music.

Originally a trio of books by Flora Thompson, Lark Rise was adapted by Keith Dewhurst for The National Theatre.

A gentle ensemble piece, it takes a rosy-tinted trip back in time and runs from Monday, July 13 to Saturday, July 18.

This show is not at Studio in Ashley Road but in the Dog Kennel Barn at Breamore House, Breamore. Bring your own picnic, a bar will be available, grounds open at 6pm and the play starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from the Salisbury Information Centre on 01722 342860.
