TISBURY Arts Group will be presenting two short adult plays tomorrow and Saturday at the Victoria Hall in Tisbury.

“The Visitors” is a new work written by Nichola Gee, a member of the Tisbury Arts Group, during her Performing Arts Degree course. Having been performed only once before, the dark and mysterious play is loosely based on the characters of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland”, and influenced by the films “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and “Girl Interrupted”. After sitting on Nichola’s bookshelf for the past ten years, the play has been resurrected by the Tisbury Arts Group for two special performances.

The second play is entitled “Last Tango in Little Grimley”, a hilarious portrayal of a small amateur dramatics society in danger of financial crisis due to lack of support from members and audiences alike. Both plays will be performed at 7.30pm.

Tickets at £6 are available from Kate Good Pottery on 01747 870367 or at the door.

Neither production is suitable for children.
