IF YOU have ever wondered what it would be like to sing in the cathedral, or to sing a big choral work with an experienced choir, then do not miss Salisbury Musical Society’s “Come and Sing” on Saturday, September 5.
The programme will comprise three popular works – Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus, which surely needs no introduction; Parry’s I Was Glad, which was sung as the processional music at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton; and Fauré’s Requiem.
Registration is at 6.15pm in the Cloister, the rehearsal will begin at 6.30pm and the performance at 7.30pm.
Tickets for audience and singers will be £10.
