AN EXHIBITION of new work by Durrington artist Valerie Batchelor goes on display next week.
It opens on Friday, September 11 at Aubrey-Fletcher Fine Art in Netheravon.
Valerie studied at Salisbury School of Art in the 1950s and has exhibited widely ever since including events in Salisbury and London.
Her work is described as varied and versatile — ranging from atmospheric landscapes to cafe, market and harbour scenes.
The exhibition will give visitors the opportunity to see a mixture of the 83-year-olds work on display.
The studio weekend runs from 6pm to 8pm on September 11, 10am to 5pm, September 12, and 11am to 4pm on September 13.
