A TRAVELLING folk band who power their tours solely by bike, carrying their instruments with them as they go, are performing at River Bourne Community Farm next Thursday, September 17 at 7pm.
Pedal Folk is a musical collective that have been delighting their audiences with a range of songs and tunes over the last three years.
This September they hit the road as a five piece of guitar, violin, flute, ukulele and cello, with multilayered harmony vocals, from Bristol to Steep in Hampshire to perform at a special concert for the Edward Thomas Fellowship.
You should be expecting rousing shanties, songs of the land and the people who live upon it, tunes that will lift your hearts and that will carry you homeward with a smile on your face.
The performance is in the barn at the farm, and there is going to be a bar and a barbecue selling burgers and veggie sausages. Tickets at £3 on 01722 330667.
