NEW Sarum Singers started rehearsals this week for its Christmas spectacular – The Glory of Christmas.
The amateur choirs’ festive programme will include the Christmas Cantata by Geoffrey Bush, a former Salisbury Cathedral chorister, and other works by Karl Jenkins and John Rutter will also feature.
Anyone over 18 who would like to try singing in a choir is welcome to come along to rehearsal evenings at 7.30 pm on Mondays at Bemerton Methodist Church, from now until the end of October. For more information call Roger Godwin on 01722 326731.
The performance will be on December 5, 7.30pm, Bemerton Methodist Church.
