SALISBURY Recorded Music Society kicks off its new season on Monday (September 21).
Ed Tinline will be giving a presentation of the music of Sibelius.
Ed is just back from Finland where he attended the 150th anniversary celebrations in Lahti so members will be the first to hear the news.
The new season's programme will have a wide range of presentations on a variety of composers from baroque to modern.
Among the speakers will be Lord Aberdare from the Berlioz Society who will be presenting a Berlioz Miscellany at the November meeting.
Society chairman Ed Tinline, said: "We have put together an interesting programme again this year and we will also have a live performance in February to include music by Handel."
Copies of the programme and details of meetings are available at Oxfam's music room, Salisbury Tourist Information Centre and the Collector's Room in Endless Street. It is also available online at salisburyrms.org
