THE Christmas play from Studio Theatre is Toad of Toad Hall, an adaptation of the famous and well-loved Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame.
The cast combine adults and members of Studio’s Youth Theatre who both act and sing.
Adapted by Philip Goulding, the tale is of the irrepressible Toad who receives an unjust sentence for stealing a car which turns out to be just the beginning of his troubles.
His friends Ratty, Mole and Badger are there to help and hinder him in his subsequent adventures, as well as a host of other characters and animals in The Wild Wood.
Toad of Toad Hall is on stage at Studio Theatre in Ashley Road and runs from Monday (December 7) to Saturday (December 12) at 7.30pm with a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available from the Salisbury Information Centre, Fish Row, on 01722 342860 at £10 and £8 (concessions).
