FOLLOW a winding trail through the Wylye Valley and you will discover the work of more than 250 artists and craftspeople exhibiting their work at 78 venues, during nine days from Saturday, until Sunday, June 3.

This is the fourth biennial Wylye Valley Art Trail and, though covering a ten mile radius of the river's valley, it is in some of the most beautiful Wiltshire countryside, taking in smaller villages such as East Hatch, Wardour and Horningsham, as well as larger villages, such as Tisbury, and and the towns of Mere, Warminster and Westbury.

You will find exhibitions in village halls, arts centres, galleries, cafés and even back gardens as artists in the area open up their studios and homes or exhibit at larger venues.

What is common at all venues is the opportunity to meet the artists and talk about their work. Many of them will be at work' when you visit and you can watch the next masterpiece unfurl. Some artists are also offering have a go' sessions, and full details of this and all participating artists and venues are available in the colourful art trail brochures available at libraries and tourist information centres throughout the region.
