MUSICIANS Martin Roscoe and Katherine Gowers are to bring the 2015-16 Avon Valley Concert season to a close.
The pair perform at the Trinity Centre in Ringwood tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm.
Pianist Roscoe in the company of acclaimed violinist Gowers will be playing a programme which will include Beethoven’s Sonata in E Flat, Prokofiev’s Sonata No. 1 in F Minor and Elgar’s Sonata in E Minor.
With a career spanning four decades, Roscoe last performed in Ringwood in November 2013.
He is renowned for his versatility, and is said to be equally at home in concerto, recital and chamber performances.
Gowers studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School, the Guildhall School of Music, the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio and with Joey Corpus in New York.
She has performed extensively throughout Britain and abroad as a soloist, recital and chamber musician.
