CALLING all woodwind, brass and percussion players - Salisbury Community Band needs you.
Currently the community band, which has 55 members, is looking for a kit drummer to join four other percussionists, as well as bassoons, tuba, bass clarinet, flute and clarinet players.
Players of other instruments are also welcome to apply, although some sections are already full.
Salisbury Community Band, under the musical direction of Chris Holmes, formed in October 2005 and it rehearses once a week at St Martin's School, Shady Bower, in the city.
Members are aged from 19 to 80 years old and include players who are experienced performers and those who have never played with others before.
The band regularly plays in concerts and is currently in rehearsals for the summer concert to be held on Friday, July 20, at St Francis Church.
Anyone interested in joining is welcome to drop into a rehearsal between 7.30pm and 9.30pm on a Wednesday.
