PLAIN Arts has forged links with Salisbury Medical Practice to showcase the talents of artists in the area.

The new Spring Collection Exhibition is on display at the Wilton Road practice and opened to the public on Tuesday.

The work of seven local artists, Ella Louise Baldwin, Annie Boag, Claire Halliday, Ann Hambly, Charlotte Moreton, Charlotte Rose, Louise Topp and Ingrid Walker, are being exhibited.

Plain Arts Salisbury co-ordinator David Walker said: “We are delighted to continue this working partnership with Salisbury Medical Practice and provide our members with a fantastic opportunity to exhibit in this wonderful building.

"We value this excellent opportunity to show the amazing wealth of artistic talent that can be found in Salisbury”.

Dr Paul McKinley added: "Artwork from the community is an integral part of the ethos we want at the surgery and we are very pleased to support this and future exhibitions. Patients have been telling us how much they have enjoyed the variety of exhibits and how it has made them more relaxed when at the surgery.”

Plain Arts is the visual arts network for Salisbury and the surrounding areas, offering members and arts organisations support and networking opportunities.

The exhibition runs until June.
