ARTIST Doug Hyde was in Salisbury on Friday as part of a tour showcasing his new collection Masters of Disguise.

Named in 2005 as the UK’s best selling published artist, he has been described as the UK’s most popular living artist on a BBC TV national news broadcast.

His trademark figures and oversized hearts are collected by the likes of Emily Blunt, Roy Hodgson and Rory McIlroy.

He visited Whitewall Galleries in Butchers Row on Friday evening, signing pieces of artwork and meeting fans.

His latest collection includes Catman & Robin and Catches Thieves Just Like Flies.

The gallery is showcasing some of his original sketches and also has a collection of limited edition prints.
