THERE was dancing under the night sky on top of the Old George Mall car park at the weekend in Of Riders and Running Horses, a visceral new dance event by Still House.

Six female dancers emerged from the audience to dance solo and synchronised routines to the music of a live two-piece band.

It was a unique type of dance with dipping, twisting and twitching, mimicking the movements of horses to modern dance and jazz music.

There was certainly a party atmosphere up on the car park roof and the performance culminated with dancers circling the small crowd to catch high-fives before pulling members of the audience up to join in the dancing.

Music was performed by Luke Harney and Sam Halmarack while the production was directed by Dan Canham.
