WHAT a treat. Not knowing what to expect, The Pianist was wonderful.

The show is centred around a recital on a grand piano but he is so focused on impressing the audience that inevitably things soon start to go wrong.

But the day is saved as Thom Monckton draws on his imagination and wit.

The Pianist, part of the Salisbury International Arts Festival, mixes clowning with circus acts and results in a very funny show.

In fact, it felt like a fusion between Mr Bean and the Cirque du Soleil. The audience laughed from the beginning to the very end.
