WITH four more confirmed screening dates through to the end of July and three confirmed dates into the autumn, it promises to be a thrilling season at Salisbury Arts Centre for lovers of New York’s Met Opera.

On Saturday, June 25 Tosca by Puccini will be screened as an encore performance at 6pm.

Conducted by Riccardo Frizza and produced by Luc Bondy the production features Roberto Alagna as Cavaradossi, John Del Carlo as Sacristan, Patricia Racette as Tosca and George Gagnidze as Scarpia.

Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore will be screened on July 5, 6pm.

This will be followed by a screening of Puccini’s La Bohème on July 14, which is conducted by Stefano Ranzani and produced by Franco Zeffirelli, and Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte on July 22.

Further screening dates have been confirmed for October and December.
