FOR one night only audiences can enjoy an evening of performance poetry at Forest Forge Theatre in Ringwood.
The show, Flow, on Monday is in partnership with Apples and Snakes and is also the first time the Ringwood theatre has opened its doors to performance poetry.
The evening is a showcase of international spoken word artists featuring North America’s best poets — Buddy Wakefield and Tanya Evanson.
Fresh from their appearances at the Glastonbury Festival, Buddy and Tanya are touring the UK for a limited time only.
And Channel 4 and BBC Radio 1's Tommy Sissons will perform his critically acclaimed poetry and the evening also features music from New Forest singer/songwriter Rowan Elwell.
Forest Forge and Apples and Snakes are also seeking local poets or spoken word artists to perform at the event, with eight open mic slots available on a first come first served basis. Book a slot by emailing pete@applesandsnakes.org for a slot.
Tickets are £8.50 (£5.50 for concessions) and available online at wegottickets.com/events/362957
