ENJOY music from five-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter at Salisbury City Hall.
The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee will be performing timeless hits from her 14 albums and new songs from her record The Things That We Are Made Of on July 21, 7.30pm.
Produced by 2016 Producer of the Year Grammynominee Dave Cobb, the album features eleven new songs written by Carpenter, including Something Tamed Something Wild.
Over the course of her career, Carpenter has sold more than 14 million records.
With hits like Passionate Kisses and He Thinks He’ll Keep Her, she has won five Grammy Awards, two Academy of Country Music awards and is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
In 2014, she released her orchestral album, Songs From The Movie. Since its release, Carpenter has performed alongside the New York Philharmonic, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, the London Concert Orchestra, the LA Philharmonic and the National Symphony Orchestra amongst others.
