GET creative at Mompesson House in Salisbury this summer.

On Thursdays and Fridays in August the National Trust team will be running printmaking activities for families, inspired by the current exhibition on artist and printmaker Rena Gardiner.

Emma James, the visitor experience officer at Mompesson House, said: “We hope that visitors will come along anytime between 11am and 4pm, enjoy the exhibition and then try out printmaking for themselves.

“This summer is the first time we have put on family specific activities and we are looking forward to welcoming both returning and new visitors to Mompesson.”

Visitors can make printing blocks using pressed foam to make their own arty creations.

Paper and pencils will be available to try out different printing designs. There will also be some stamping activities for younger children.

The printmaking activities will take place in the garden and so will be weather dependent.

The house and garden are currently open on Saturdays through to Wednesdays but will open daily from today until September 7.
