AWARD-WINNING Rosie Kay Dance Company will take centre stage at Salisbury Arts Centre to perform two dance duets.

The performance takes place on Wednesday, 8pm.

Rosie Kay Dance Company won the Best Independent Company at the National Dance Awards and will give two performances, Double Points: K and Motel.

Double Points: K is a study of synchronicity and stamina, which is set to a soundtrack of Bach, dub step and electronica. It is based on the seminal work by Dutch/ Italian choreographer Emio Greco, Rosie Kay collaborated with the choreographer to make create a new interpretation that is entirely her own.

Motel is inspired by the paintings of visual arts duo Huntley Muir.

It explores the spaces where illicit affairs occur, and secret relationships play out, evoking our deep, sensuous emotions.

The second piece, Motel, is a new duet by Rosie Kay inspired by the work of artists Huntley Muir and their series of Rooms paintings, who collaborate with Kay in this work.

Tickets are £12 and £10 for concessions and are available from the box office on 01722 321744 or online at salisburyartscentre.co.uk.
