FOR those looking for something a bit different this Christmas why not experience an evening of Victorian entertainment at Salisbury Playhouse.
A Little of What You Fancy is packed full of music, sketches, melodrama and more from this era, with songs including The Boy I Love is Up in the Gallery, After The Ball is Over, I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside, Deck the Halls and Here We Come a Wassailing.
Sophie Evans, Glyn Kerslake, Adrian Grove and Rebecca Trehearn were superb in the intimate setting of the Salberg Theatre and created a fantastic party atmosphere where you truly felt you were among friends. The audience participation added to the show and made you feel part of it.
The singing was beautiful and the songs had the audience singing along.
As the song says 'A little of what you fancy does you good', which is definitely true in this case.
The production runs until January 21. Tickets 01722 320 333 or salisburyplayhouse.com.
