GET into the spirit of spring with Salisbury Concert Band this weekend.

The band will be performing its spring concert tonight (Saturday, March 25) in the Walker Hall at Leehurst Swan School in Campbell Road.

The 60 wind, brass and percussion players will be presenting a wide-range of music, including The Merry Wives of Windsor Overture, a Benny Goodman selection, Into The Woods by Stephen Sondheim, Pineapple Poll and Tico Tico. There will be something for everyone.

Special guests, Ukuladies, from Reading will also be appearing.

Conductor Chris Holmes promises the audience an evening of great music and a display of local talent to inspire and delight.

Admission is free and there will be a retiring collection. The concert starts at 7.30pm.
