STUDIO Theatre’s latest production is My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier adapted for the stage by Diana Morgan.
It tells the tale of the young Philip Ashley who travels to Italy to find his cousin Ambrose has died suddenly and Rachel, Ambrose’s wife, has disappeared.
Philip returns to England convinced Rachel was responsible for Ambrose’s death for financial gain. Rachel arrives in England and one event after another leads to confusion, bafflement and suspicion. Is Rachel a cunning schemer, or a grossly maligned woman?
Directed by Linda Hayman with a cast of established and newer members, My Cousin Rachel will be at Studio Theatre, Ashley Road until Saturday (April 8) at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from Salisbury Information Centre, Fish Row. Call 01722 342860 for more details.
