SALISBURY Taste Trail is back by popular demand.

The trail offers participants the chance to go on a tasting tour of the city and will run from Friday, July 14 to Sunday 23.

It is produced by Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival and sponsored by Salisbury BID.

Alison Pascalidis, the festival development manager said: "We are delighted that the Taste Trail is back as it was very popular last year and we are very grateful to Salisbury BID for their continued support. There are lots of venues taking part in and around Salisbury, with some delicious food and drink offerings. Don't miss it. We will certainly be out and about from 14-23 July enjoying some of the great food and drink that Salisbury has to offer."

Taste Trail tokens are now on sale at Salisbury Information Centre. Tokens can then be traded for dishes and drinks at participating venues.

Steph Shearing, the events and marketing manager for Salisbury BID said: "Salisbury BID are pleased to once again support the Salisbury Taste Trail, this event creates a culinary pathway through the city and encourage residents and visitors to experience multiple food and drink venues they may not have experienced before. Salisbury is lucky to have such a diverse array of dining opportunities and this event really showcases the mouth-watering offer available."

Tokens cost £3 each or £12 for five. New for 2017 is the £5 premium token that can be used at selected venues.

All of the restaurants, cafes and pubs taking part can be found at salisburyfestival.co.uk, or on the Taste Trail menu, available at Salisbury Information Centre.
