DIVE into a weekend of free fun for all ages at Salisbury Art Centre’s family fiesta.

This year’s themes revolve around sea life and bees, and visitors can expect a variety of shows and workshops on Sunday between noon and 4pm.

Programme highlights include The Whale (12-12.30, 12.30-1, 2-2.30, 2.30-3, 4-4.30, 4.30-5).

Meet a giant whale with surprises and stories in his tummy. Enclosed in a lobster-net fence and guarded by a nosy Fish Wife, brave swashbucklers will encounter a shipwrecked pirate with a treasure tale to tell and a real live mermaid with a haunting siren’s song and an intriguing secret.

There will also be a costume store from midday to 4pm where visitors can create and make their own under the sea inspired head wear.

Alternatively, create an animated adventure and see characters come to life.

And learn more about bees with Becky Twigg from The Secret Garden from noon to 4pm and decorate a bee-inspired cupcake in Busy Bee Cupcakes. There will also be a chance to build a shoebox theatre to take home.
