ART, music and archaeology inspire a major new exhibition by Brian Graham at Salisbury Museum.
The exhibition, Brian Graham: Towards Music, is scheduled to open on January 27 and run until May 12.
Brian takes the viewer on a visual journey, exploring how he imagines the beginnings of music-making and dance.
This body of work also reflects his research in fields beyond art and encompasses science, archaeology and anthropology.
Each of the works is dedicated to a piece of music, a composer or a significant figure from the world of music and dance.
The museum is also offering the chance to win a unique series of works by Brian in an Art Draw.
The Melchester Quarter is a series of four works, inspired by Elisabeth Frink’s Walking Madonna sculpture, which can be found near to the museum in Cathedral Close. Tickets are priced at £25 each and are available from the museum.
