I LIVE in the Wylye Valley and though I have tinkered with painting all my life, it is only in the last few years that I have taken it up again seriously.

I am largely self-taught, though I won a part-time scholarship to Hornsey College of Art as a teenager and have attended various art courses over the years.

I paint mostly landscapes in oil or pastel, but also enjoy drawing. I have been privileged over the last few years to receive tutoring from Maggie Brown (Wales), Nick Andrew (Crockerton) and Claire Wiltsher (Lyndhurst) in painting, and from Barry Watkin (Somerset) in pastel.

I have exhibited with the Wylye Valley Art Trail, with Noble Art in Salisbury and at a local art competition in Codford, with a painting which won first prize.

I am hoping that Plain Arts will give me the chance to exhibit my work more often.
