A COMEDY by Salisbury writer Jayne Woodhouse is being performed at the Chapel Nightclub.
Loosely Based Theatre Company present SPECI-MAN on Saturday (October 21), 8pm. The bar opens at 7pm.
The show is directed by Calum Robshaw.
It is a comedy set in a future world, where men are an endangered species. It presents a humorous take on gender stereotypes, while raising issues which are highly relevant to today.
Adam, one of the last surviving male specimens, is kept in a scientific facility under the care of his keeper, Morgan. Unfortunately, Adam appears to be suffering from a potentially fatal condition and regressing to male behaviour patterns from 2017. He is becoming aggressive and sexist, while displaying an obsession with football and giving detailed road directions. Morgan needs to seek specialist help if she is to find a cure.
Tickets at chapelnightclub.co.uk/events.
