ST JOHN Singers’ annual Magic of Christmas concert takes place at St Thomas’s Church in Salisbury on Wednesday, December 20, 7.30pm.
Guest artist this year is the harpist Katie Salomon, already well known to Salisbury audiences, and. This will be the choir’s first concert under their new musical director Stephen Abbott.
The festive evening will feature a wide range of carols and Christmas music from around the world, with plenty of chances for the audience to join in singing familiar favourites.
This year’s partnership charity is SSAFA who provide lifelong support to anyone who is currently serving or has ever served in the armed forces and also to their families.
Tickets for Magic of Christmas are £15 and include interval wine, soft drinks and mince pies. They are available from Musicroom, 5 Catherine Street, Salisbury, by calling 01722 328181, or from choir members.
