TAP-DANCING, magic, comedy and drama will all feature at Salisbury Playhouse in January in a line-up that will bring the New Year in with a bang.
UK tap ensemble Old Kent Road will perform in the Salberg from Thursday, January 11 to Saturday, January 13 followed by the time-travelling magicians Morgan and West, also in the Salberg, from Tuesday, January 16 to Saturday 20.
On Friday, January 19 Griff Rhys Jones, star of Not the Nine O’Clock News and Three Men in a Boat, brings stand-up comedy to the Playhouse for an evening of stories, anecdotes and outright lies – from 40 years of travelling down rivers and up mountains, into Africa, out of India, and across the arid wastes of the BBC canteen.
A touring production of A Passage to India, based on the classic novel by EM Forster. opens on Monday, January 22. Theatre company simple8 has adapted one of the greatest novels of the 20th century and reimagined it for contemporary Britain. A Passage to India runs until Saturday, January 27.
