FOREST Forge Youth Theatre brings to the stage the story of how the ripple’s of one’s actions can cause a significant difference.
From Wednesday, April 18 to Saturday 21 they will be performing their adaption of Fin Kennedy’s The Domino Effect.
Kennedy’s play was inspired during a trip to France whilst watching the film, Amélie. During the summer of 2013 The Domino Effect was conceived and set in the inner city with a teenage girl at the heart.
The Domino Effect is about Amina, an observant and thoughtful girl who has elected to be silent. This is her story of how she finds her voice, and how she realises that small actions can have huge effects, where you least expect it.
Creative learning director at Forest Forge Theatre, Lucy Philips, aims to breath life into story about communities, chance and consequences.
Performances start at 7.30pm and there will be a matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday, April 21.
