ONE of Salisbury’s leading poets is the special guest at Poetika on Wednesday (April 16).
Michelle Harris has been a performance poet for 23 years and grew up in the north.
Her work is massively influenced by the infrastructure of the area, it’s role within British history and mirrors the divide still prevalent today.
Michelle has supported Dr John Cooper Clarke, Roger McGough and John Hegley.
Poetika is Salisbury’s poetry, spoken word and acoustic music open mic, and is at The Pheasant Inn, Salt Lane, from 7.30pm.
Poetika is held on the third Wednesday of every month upstairs at the Pheasant Inn, Salt Lane, from 7.30pm. All our welcome to contribute or simply listen.
