LIVE music filled venues across the city as the first weekend of Salisbury Live got underway.

The event takes place over the coming weekends with two special events on Friday, June 1.

Colin Holton, who is co-ordinating Salisbury Live, said: “So far Salisbury Live is living up to the expectations as being the best yet. The first weekend was absolutely fantastic as was the weather. The new venture, Salisbury Live goes Rural in Alderbury was mind blowing.

“Thanks to all the acts and venues who took part and here’s to the next four weekends.”

The first part of Salisbury Live in the Square kicks off on Friday (May 11) with acts including Skaville, Glasshouse, Odstocks, The Acrustic Badger Band, One Way, Nia Nicholls, Julian McCloud as well as performances from music students from Wiltshire College. It runs in the Market Square from 1pm-10pm.

This year’s event is being supported by the Journal.
