THE 17th annual Farley Music Festival promises to be yet another unmissable feast of classical music, performed by some of the world’s most renowned musicians.

The concerts, which run across five days, take place in the historic surroundings of the iconic, Wren-style All Saints’ Church in the village of Farley.

Performers include Retorica, rising young pianist and Royal Academy of Music scholarship student Ariel Lanyi, Hungarian-American pianist Julia Hamos, French pianist Isabelle Oehmichen and Sapori Vocali.

Two rising stars in the world of classical music, both former Salisbury school pupils, will be helping to bring the festival to a rousing finale on Saturday, June 23.

Soprano Alexandra Frazer, a former pupil of Leaden Hall School and Godolphin School, and baritone Guy Pelly, formerly a Salisbury Cathedral chorister at Salisbury Cathedral School before studying at Bishop Wordsworth’s School, will be performing as part of Sapori Vocali.

A Night at the Opera will feature a range of musical offerings from arias to ensembles by well-loved composers, from Handel to Humperdinck and Rameau to Rossini.

Tickets for each Farley Music Festival concert cost £15 per person.

Tickets can be purchased at the Salisbury Playhouse by calling 01722 320333 or going to salisburyplayhouse.com

Proceeds from ticket sales go to the upkeep of All Saints’ Church Farley.
