Michael O’Leary at The Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum in Salisbury
A FREE family storytelling event is coming to The Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum in Salisbury this half term.
Tales from the Trenches will be told by storyteller Michael O’Leary who will retell real life First World War stories from the museum’s archive collection specially for a younger audience.
The storytelling events take place on Thursday, May 31 at 10.30am and 11.30am. The drop-in sessions are suitable for children aged seven and older.
The event is part of a series of family events at the museum to commemorate 100 years of the final
year of the First World War.
The museum is also displaying a temporary exhibition called 1918:War and Peace.
