LOVE on the Links is a loveable romp that is definitely not just for golfers.

Michael Fenton Stevens, whose credits include Benidorm and The Crown, leads the cast superbly as The Oldest Member as he tries to help his fellow golfers to navigate matters of the heart.

Love on the Links is based on the golfing stories of PG Wodehouse. The stories have been adapted by Jon Glover and Edward Taylor.

The dialogue is sharp and witty and had me in stitches throughout.

Tim Frances, Jenna Boyd, Tiffany Graves, Adam Jackson-Smith, David Shelley and Rob Witcomb do a fantastic job of bringing The Oldest Member’s stories to life and the colourful characters they are based upon.

The show is packed full of fun and laughter.

The club house is also transformed in some unexpected ways as the stories take you on different journeys.

The performances were superb and well directed by Ryan McBryde.

The set was amazing and really captured the look and feel of a golf club.

Love on the Links runs at Salisbury Playhouse until June 23.
