SALISBURY Cathedral has a packed programme of activities for the summer.
These include painting, bunting making, and music to name just a few.
This year’s summer trail, New Animal Antics, is available now and can be collected from the welcome desk. Visitors can then go in search of the carved animals in the cathedral.
Children can practice their painting and sponging techniques in Start Sponging! on Wednesday, August 1, 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm in the North Transept.
Make bunting in Flagtime Fun on Wednesday, August 15, from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm in the North Transept.
Fire Your Spire blends physics and craft to build a spire on August 15.
The Swing Unlimited Big Band comes to the Close on Sunday, August 12. Bring a picnic and settle in for an afternoon of toe-tapping music and dancing on a wartime theme.
All family activities and Swing Unlimited are free.
