A WEEKEND of free live music comes to Firsdown.
Firsfest - The Firsdown Music Festival - takes place on Friday (August 10) and Saturday (August 11).
The event has large stages with world-class sound and lighting systems.
Everyone involved in the festival donates their time for free in order to sustain the event.
The festival is funded purely by food and drink sales and donations during the weekend, plus some money from sponsorship.
Organisers said: “The aim is to give the bands and the audience a great experience - the atmosphere is very special and the large crowd are incredibly appreciative.”
The event takes place in the field at the bottom of Firsdown Road.
