YOUNG people in Wiltshire have now got their own radio station.
Sparkradio was set up in 2006 specifically to give information to those aged 13 to 19 about events going on in the county.
The initiative, between the county council and Interactive Media Centre at Wiltshire College, has expanded to include a portable studio, based at Grosvenor House in Salisbury. This will enable more young people to get involved in broadcasting.
Sparkradio is accessed via a website called Sparksite. Users can search for specific activities, speak out on issues which concern them, and give ratings and reviews for music gigs and films.
Volunteer Ed Smith said: "I think it is amazing that young people can share their views directly on to Sparksite, showing that young people's opinions in Wiltshire really count."
